Conflict History+Google Maps

This is such a great site, Conflict History, which I had to post and share. Google Maps are versatile and particularly useful when ingenious people make mash-ups, especially educational mash-ups like Conflict History. By combining Google Maps with content from Wikipedia it is possible to browse the timeline from, well, way back, in human history, and up to today’s conflicts.

It’s great for comparative studies and to get an overview for students and history buffs (like me).
