Will you be using it with students? Is it part of Asian Literature Studies? If at all possible, I am interested in seeing a copy of the translated version when you have completed it.
By the way, I visited Hue 10 years ago and stayed close to Perfume River. Lovely city and fascinating history. Hope to revisit Vietnam soon!
