This past semester I have introduced Prezi as both a presentational tool and as a mind mapping tool for students and teachers. Most of them find it useful, and there is a multitude of ways to explore and use Prezi. I particularly find using it as a collaborative tool productive. When students in pairs or threes are asked to solve tasks together they can use a Prezi canvas to share ideas and work together in order to get an overview.
Most students (and teachers) continue to use Powerpoint as their presentation tool of choice. However, this often leads to very linear presentations and not the visually improved ways one can use Prezi. Henceforth, I do welcome the new feature of importing Powerpoints to a Prezi in order to prezify them (see video above).
